Abstract

This article carried out an extensive analysis of both national and international literature to address the impact of quality of life in indigenous communities, in order to know how this issue has been handled from the perspective of different countries and in this way, obtain relevant information for the development of strategies that can be implemented in order to improve the quality of life of these communities. Having a positive impact on the quality of life is to carry out an analysis of each one of the focuses that are part of this term (health, food, education, economic sustainability) and according to the information collected, take actions to solve the problem. Indigenous communities on different occasions have expressed how little inclusive health and education programs are, taking into account their culture and beliefs. In the literature review carried out, specific approaches are highlighted through which strategies can be created to address this situation experienced by many indigenous communities in different countries.
