Behavior before earthquake movements of one and two plants houses of masonry in Barranquilla’s “La Paz” neighborhood

Seismic event, Masonry, Seismic vulnerability, Structural type, Foundation.Abstract
For a seismic event occurred in a given sector, it has been shown that structures with a different type suffer structural damage, and we can define seismic vulnerability as the susceptibility of a structure damaged by a seismic event and determined that the seismic vulnerability depends on factors such as geometry and details of the structure, construction aspects, structural aspects, soil type, environment, foundation and state of preservation. This article presents the methodology AIS where each factor is scored by using some simple criteria and visualization and comparison with general patterns at three levels: low vulnerability, middle vulnerability, and high vulnerability.
