Una revisión bibliográfica del Fintech y sus principales subáreas de estudio

Este artículo muestra una revisión de la literatura académica sobre tecnología financiera (Fintech) permitiendo identificar tres subáreas. La banca tradicional presenta un gran desafió con la Tecnología Financiera (Fintech) y la transformación de los servicios financieros. La cual es percibida como una disrupción significativa en la economía con la llegada de estos nuevos modelos de negocios. Es un tema relativamente nuevo que cada día adquiere mayor trascendencia y el cual aún presenta muchos temas de investigación, por lo cual se construye una revisión de las subáreas. Por consiguiente, el objetivo de este artículo es mostrar la evolución de las subáreas del Fintech a través de una revisión que presenta las perspectivas de este tema de estudio en la actualidad. Para ello se realizó un análisis de red apoyado en técnicas cienciométricas, se utilizó la herramienta Web Tree of Science a partir de una consulta en Scopus. Se clasificaron los documentos más importantes y se realizó un análisis de las citaciones. Los resultados mostraron tres diferentes subáreas: Fintech nuevo modelo de negocio desafío en la economía digital; el futuro de la banca en créditos una ventaja competitiva y seguridad y privacidad en los datos.
