Abstract

Domestic violence, threatens and sometimes irreparable damage to the individual and family integrity. This manuscript deals with the analysis of the impact of domestic violence problems interna-lized and externalized behavior in a random sample consisted of 104 children aged 7-12 years in the context of family dynamics and school estimated at 95% confidence level and 5% error. In the findings it is evident as exposure to different types of abuse becomes a harmful factor associated with inap-propriate patterns of family interaction, problems of isolation, aggressive behavior and poor school performance among others. The results guided the formulation of programs of psychosocial and edu-cational intervention in family and school settings.
