Abstract

The present work has as main objective the analysis of the evaluation models of addiction to social networks in university students. In the first place, a literary review was carried out where various studies related to the subject were identified, in order to show the research panorama on the levels of addiction to social networks. A 5-stage analysis methodology was developed, made up as follows: choice of database, search, selection, extraction, data processing and analysis. 59 articles associated with the theme were found, most of them of Spanish origin. In general, the analysis reflected a disparity between the findings of the publications found before and after the pandemic, revealing a trend that marked the increase in the addiction of young people to social networks in each consecutive year of the publications found, on the other On the other hand, with the findings of the publications, it was possible to determine that there is a direct relationship between addiction to social networks and the procrastination of young people in their academic activities. This work will serve as a tool for future researchers who seek to deepen the study of this problem.
