Copyright Policy and Licensing

Copyrights

The moral rights of authorship are the authors' property and are not transferable. Only the author's economic rights and the rights for publication are assigned through the contract of assignment of the author's economic rights to the publisher, the Universidad de la Costa. All authors must accept and sign this contract when their article is accepted for publication. Only those who have contributed intellectually to the manuscript's content, structure, and elaboration should appear as authors in the "," following the fourteen typologies of authorship established by CRedit (Contributor Roles Taxonomy).

In case of doubts about authorship and contributions, visiting the parameters given by COPE is recommended.

By signing the assignment of rights, all authors guarantee that they have approved the final version of the manuscript and that it can be published, and they are also responsible for the content of the manuscript.

The Journal of Applied Cognitive Neuroscience is guided by international standards on intellectual property and copyright, particularly Article 58 of the Political Constitution of Colombia, Law 23 of 1982, and Law 1915 of 2018.
