Analysis of sustainable development dimensions swamp Mallorquin

Abstract

The following article is based on the results of research and development on the issue of land use planning
in Colombia that have been addressed by the TMAD research group of the Faculty of Architecture at the
Universidad del Atlantico; these problems elaborate on the relationship of the environment with the territory,
and its interpretation through planning systems established in Colombia. In this particular case, the focus is
on the analysis of the application or the implementation of sustainable development and the possibilities of
institutional governance with regards to economic interests and territorial actions that happen in the morass
of Mallorquín in Barranquilla, Department of Atlántico.
