At the first meeting of the Latin American Network of Schools of Architecture held in Medellín, Colombia, in November 2021, the challenges that Architecture in Latin America has were discussed. In this discussion, two challenges closely aligned with Bioclimatic were exposed and discussed: Climate Change and the consideration of Human factors. Derived from various academic investigations over 10 years, this paper collects reflections and discusses the urgency of rethinking Architecture in light of the new climatic conditions to which the buildings we inhabit and design today will be subjected. Additionally, it proposes to complement this discussion from a transdisciplinary approach in which human factors are considered and made visible, specifically from the point of view of the health of the inhabitants and the role of the Architect to promote the good health of people in interior spaces. The paper concludes with the importance of rethinking the course of the study plans of the Schools of Architecture in such a way that Climate Change and the Well-being of people are considered as one of the problematic axes of the teaching of Architecture.
