Abstract

At the beginning of the 20th century, the typology of "houses operárias ", narrow side by side houses that make up the Worker's room in central areas of the city. With little opportunity for new constructions of houses in urban centers, the typology of the "house operária "narrow to pay special attention for its possibility of requalification next to the house stage contemporary The re-architecture of that type of house inspires to study the current project strategies that allow to bring qualitative measures to the new building. For so much, the article, from the example of the Azuma House, analyzes the aspects of the project regarding its guidelines, concept, program, spatial organization and manifest.
