Labor flexibilization in Colombia

This paper analyzes the phenomenon of labor flexibility applied to Colombian law, based on the transformation that has taken the concept of work and labor relations in contemporary society, which has implemented a neoliberal economic model towards a globalized market, so you should make changes to the labor laws slowing rights workers to allow development of the private sector and improve conditions for them to be more productive and they can be more competitive in the international arena. This change in labor regulation has a negative impact on the guarantees of the salaried class, as another of the intentions of flexible labor market was expanding employment places and encourage recruitment by employers, but statistics in relation to the unemployment rate does not reflect the expected increase in the population with formal employment and decreased benefits required by law
