Abstract

Today, industrial companies have one of the highest numbers of accidents and occupational diseases annually in Colombia. This is due to various risk factors that accompany industry practices. however, these factors are born to counter the Joint Committee on Safety and Health at Work COPASST, which are designed to monitor, control and promote practices addressed to safeguard the rights of employees and with them, their wellness. This study is structured as a qualitative methodology under proposed by Taylor & Bogdan (1990) analysis approach which is based on three stages: discovery, coding and relativization, from which you can achieve understanding in depth of the subject being studied. One of the most important conclusions of the research is that industrial companies should structure their processes of planning, organization, development and evaluation related to the training of COPASST to ensure safety and health at work.
