Abstract

International logistics has been a very interesting topic of discussion in recent years, given that globalization has led nations to a point of commercial exchange never seen before, so it is necessary to know the current state of literature when Regarding this, as well as the most representative authors, the specific topics that have been developed and the fields of research are emerging so that the scientific world is aware and can help fill the possible gaps that may arise. The article is characterized by a wide search spectrum since it distinguishes both the most cited and important works for previous years and the most recent ones around the world. Thus, a methodology based on network analysis and the use of clusters was used to condense the information. It was concluded that the issues are varied in terms of the application of international logistics around the world. An example of this is the location of logistics centers, investment flows and everything that the provision of the service as such entails. It is worth highlighting the current emergence of issues such as port performance, that is, how they work and the potential of logistics services, as well as the application of theories and methodologies to country contexts that are not so involved in the dynamics of world trade.
