Nowadays, companies pay more attention to the effective and efficient performance of their warehouses, this area has been considered an area of higher importance that does not require methods, techniques and procedures for its management.
It is important to highlight the process of storage and distribution of food products of the archdiocesan institution Food Bank Program. After all this dynamic, there must be a series of standards regarding the safety and quality of delivery of products of different categories according to the food scale, since when it comes to products for immediate consumption due to the considerably limited expiration time, the chain supply in general, must meet the minimum standards of quality and safety. The distribution process in this context must be carried out in the shortest time possible since if there is no infrastructure (cold room) to maintain the cold chain in fruit and vegetable products, they deteriorate rapidly. Taking this description as a basis and focusing on the distribution process, we take as the main objective, after carrying out the pertinent analysis of the current problems within the operation of the program, it is intended to generate various strategies or possible recommendations to improve or minimize the neck of bottle that is presented in the delivery time of vegetables and fruits in the process in general, since due to this it clearly delays the operation of the dynamics.
