Copyright Policy and Licensing

Copyright

The moral rights of authorship belong to the authors, and only the economic rights and the publication rights are assigned through a copyright transfer agreement, on behalf to Universidad de la Costa, which must be accepted and signed by all authors when their article is accepted for publication. The "copyright transfer agreement" should only list authors who have contributed intellectually to the content, structure, and creation of the manuscript, following the fourteen typologies of authorship established by CRedit (Contributor Roles Taxonomy).

In case of doubts about authorship and contributions, it is recommended to refer to the guidelines provided by COPE.

By signing the copyright transfer, all authors guarantee that they have approved the final version of the manuscript and that it can be published. They are also responsible for the content presented in it.

LADEE follows international standards on intellectual property and copyright, and in particular, it adheres to Article 58 of the Colombian Constitution, Law 23 of 1982, and Law 1915 of 2018.
