Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

LADEE is an international refereed scientific journal with the purpose of being a communication channel for original contributions to researchers in Research articles written in English or Spanish are welcome.

Papers that conform to the scope of the journal and meet the minimum evaluation criteria will be submitted to a review process by referees using the double-blind procedure. LADEE adopts the , it is an open access electronic publication, which does not charge for publishing and is published using a continuous publication model with packaging in semi-annual issues.

At the time of submission, the information of all the authors of the manuscript must be registered. Authorship-related changes will not be accepted after the review process is complete.

- All abbreviations and acronyms should be broken down the first time they are used; the author is advised to avoid abbreviations in the title and abstract, unless absolutely necessary.

- Equations must be elaborated using the Word formula editor (or add-ins such as MathType and similar).  After inserting the equation, it must be numbered, enclosing in parentheses the number that represents it within the article.  Example: (1), (2).

- For units, preferably use the International System (SI) or the predominant system in the subject or discipline. English units may be used as secondary units (in parentheses). This applies to documents in information storage. For example, write "15 Gb/cm2 (100 Gb/in2)". Avoid combining several unit systems.
