Abstract

This research project highlights the importance of Cloud Computing as one of the most important technologies of Industry 4.0, and a key element to achieve the digital transformation promoted by the Colombian government, since it allows to support and deploy other technologies and applications that manage the information of the operations of an organization and that are available from any electronic device with internet connection. Accordingly, it is the interest of this research project to conduct a study of the basic theoretical foundations of this technology, services, models that offer Cloud Computing and the services offered by Cloud Computing. Initially we inquired about the theoretical foundations, characteristics, services, advantages and disadvantages, service providers, which allowed us to identify the different alternatives of implementation and configuration of the web application Gestor Urbano developed for the Legal Office of the Law School of the Universidad del Sinú Seccional Cartagena.
