Abstract

The heavy machinery sector topicality some difficulties as high times used in maintenance, which is why this research was started in a company focused on the maintenance of heavy machinery parts, which is characterized by providing a service efficient, however, lately it has been presenting failures within the production area. Therefore, a study is made using the Synoptic Diagram, Ishikawa Diagram, Pareto Chart. where different problems are evident which are related to poor time management, all this from machinery in poor condition, the lack of supplies or spare parts for operator maintenance and the lack of sequence in their activities. Consequently, to this, the area that has been most affected and that has presented the greatest complications is the delivery of orders, which has decreased the efficiency within the service provided by the company and therefore improvement proposals were made to decrease time in the workshop area.
